_Rain.

My mind, scatters.
All my problems,
Mix, stick like
Cookie batter.
Right now, still hurts
But it just don’t matter.

The rain came,
Trickling insane,
Coming my way,
I just want
A taste!

Out I run
With arms widespread.
So many days,
My salvation has come.

The light mist sprays
Across my dry face.
Refreshing, relaxing,
And exfoliating the waste.

I breathe in,
Salty like ocean,
Sweet like spring,
Faulty like me,
But above all;
Free.

Now it rains harder,
Not quite a downpour,
But floating downwards
Making many droplet
Pools.

Are you crying with me,
My dear rain?
Or do you pity what
I’ve become, so
It’s your only way?

Regardless, now
Tears don’t just
fall from my eyes.
No matter how
Many tries,
Tears mingle with
rain and cling
to my eyelashes.

Blink once.
Blink twice.
It’s still there.

I sigh and take a
Deep breath…
So refreshing!

Mother Nature
Seems happy
Too.

Wash the grime off her flowers,
Feed her thirsty children
With your gentle flow.

You come down
Harder even.
Water sploshes
Everywhere.

But I don’t care!
Let’s have some fun;
Pitter patter,
Dance and twirl.
Pitter patter,
Swish and swirl.

I’m completely soaked,
Thinking ahead
To mother’s scolding
Later.
Though I can’t help,
But smile.

Everyday weather,
Simple water droplets bring
Me such joy!

Look, I forgot my sadness.
Impossible to many,
But easy for rainy weather.

The droplets
Start to thin.
It seems your
Visit is almost over.

Everywhere around,
Covered with beautiful drops
Reflecting the
Shy sun.
Just a pale
Light, illuminating
Everything brilliantly.

Only a couple fall
Now.
One bead drops down
My nose, I
Brush it away
Gently.

You must go now,
but how contraire.

While others sing,
“Rain rain go away,
Come again another day”

I’ll be humming,
“Rain rain come
This way, please
Visit soon someday”

I’ll wait for you, rain.

I wrote this because I want to do a whole collection on rain. This was the more positive perspective written about it. And it is written in a light and almost childish kind of way, but still. xD It could have been better, but I'm mostly happy with it.

Watch out for the more depressing ones coming up. Or not. >_> *depends on procrastinating and such*
